START UP

-ensure radios are properly charged

-begin with all radios "off"

-plug the headsets into the radios

-power on the radio labeled "Master"

-wait 15 seconds, then power on the radios labeled "Remote"

-wear the radios on the left hip

Note: Eartec headsets include a special noise canceling microphone that provides digital voice translation. For optimum performance adjust microphone boom so that the element is directly in front of, and approximately 1 inch from the mouth.

CHARGING

-ensure all radios are "off"

-plug the charger into the charge jack, then into AC outlet

-charge radios a minimum of 12 hours, not to exceed 16

-the red light indicated charging and will remain lit as long as the charger is plugged into both the charge jack and the AC outlet.

-charger will not fully insert into the charge jack

-red indicator light does not light while charger is plugged in
